In Nowadays society, there is an abundance of information on the internet about ways to enhance sleep quality. In my opinion, some methods are effective, while others may not be as beneficial. In a summary, I believe that pillow plays a significant role in enhancing your sleep quality. Moreover, it is then important to understand the science behind sleep and I will explain them in this passage. 

 

Why is Sleep Quality Important?

Sleep plays a crucial role in overall health and well-being. Quality sleep is essential for cognitive function, emotional well-being, and physical health. Poor sleep quality has been linked to a variety of health issues, including obesity, heart disease, and depression. However, to consistently have supreme quality of sleep, the first step, which I think is the most crucial. is to have discipline. I personally is also continuously trying to improve that but you personally have to prioritize your sleep at a higher ranking. 

 

How can I do that? 

Different people have different approaches of their sleeping routine. I'm just trying to share my point of view. Before I started, I want to claim a sentence that I keep reminding myself: 'It is not about perfection, it's more about striving for the best as you can!' Do not feel guilty when you can do that in one time or one go. Try your 100% best to prioritize sleep every single day. 

Set an alarm clock before you sleep 

Interesting right? I will set an alarm clock to remind me that it's time to get to bed and sleep. I think this habits also trying to remind my body that it's time to get to sleep. Moreover, I talked about the doctrine of discipline because it examines whether you are willing to sacrifice your social time or working hours during that particular period. 

Turn off your phone before one hour of sleep

Your mobile phone release a lot of blue ray lights, especially the screen. When your eyes contact with these blue ray lights before sleep, these lights will send a signal to the brain as day light. Therefore, your body will inevitably wakes you up when your consciences is trying to sleep. This then will create an imbalance between your plan and body reaction. 

Bed is solely for sleep, not for other activities

When I contacted with a lot of people, I realized that people will do a lot of works on their bed, such as studying, working, sports, etc. However, I personally think this mindset will be needed to change because these activities creates a signal to your brain that this is a workplace and you have to stay awake in order to work.

After talking about my sleeping habits, I will talk about pillow. I found pillow extremely important and under mentioned in the general public.
